It was towards the end of the 80?s when people started to talk about ?Acid Jazz?, but in reality the phenomenon actually exploded fully around early 90?s, first in England, then in Europe and then all around the world. A new way of listening and dancing to music that had Jazz influences produced by some amazingly talented musicians but also DJ?s with their passion for Black music. Mainly Jazz rooted then, but with Soul and Funky Elements to complete this excellent style that is very current and still much in vogue to this day. Even though if the original name is often misinterpreted the spirit remains the same.
