Drive By Wire manages to distill these inspirations into a warm organic sound with the urgency of '90s grunge, the contagious riff-driven groove of Queens Of The Stone Age, and delicious hypnotic heavy-ness such as Black Sabbath. For this record they chose to work with producer Guido Aalbers (QOTSA, The Gathering, Muse, Masters Of Reality) because of his ability to capture and convey the thick, organic sound and exhilarating vigor that the band's live performances are so well known for.
