From 1978 and 1979 come these albums first issued on United Artists Records. The material is a mixture of traditional tunes rearranged by Doc and Merle, and covers which they interpret in their own indomitable bluegrass and folk style. The father and son duo performed together until 1985 when Merle was tragically killed in a tractor accident on his farm. Digitally remastered and slipcased and with new notes.
