As his counterparts nervously sought success with Fontana as a pop vehicle with Klaus Voormann and Mike D'Abo, Jones could afford to rest on his laurels as the charismatic, good-looking frontman. But Jones wasn't just a face, he had written a fair chunk of material with Mann and immediately hit a UK #4 with 'High Time' while embarking on a film career with 'Privilege' and 'The Committee,' two films that today, enjoy cult status. A move to EMI saw his own songs taking a progressive turn, peaking with the 1969 explorative album 'Come Into My Music Box.'
