Rok po smrti slavného kytaristy, bývalého člena legendárních Beatles, přemýšlivého básníka, zakladatele tradice benefičních koncertů a experimentálního hudebníka George Harrisona se jeho přátelé, rodina a kolegové na popud Erica Claptona sešli, aby u jeho nejznámějších písniček zavzpomínali na jeho nesmrtelného a nezdolného ducha. Ale jak říká název jedné z Georgových písní, "all things must pass (vše musí skončit)". Mezi účinkujícími hudebníky nemohli chybět dva zbývající Broukové Paul McCartney a Ringo Starr, kolegové z hudebního uskupení The Travelling Willburies, Ravi Shankar, jež na něj měl vliv ohledně orientální hudby, přítel z doby hamburských časů Klaus Voormann, členové skupiny Monty Python nebo jeho syn Dhani, žena Olivie a další.
