Gregory Isaacs was one of the most prolific reggae artists of his era, and the latest announcement from Necessary Mayhem will delight his fans all over the world. Curtis Lynch, the legendary record producer, has taken ten of the very best tracks from the Gregory Isaacs and Gussie Clarke era (1984-1999). This project has generated a huge amount of buzz around the world, and will be Necessary Mayhem's biggest release of 2013 so far. Curtis was inspired by the works of Clarke & Isaacs during his school days, and his selection of tracks may surprise you as they are not the obvious choices. The attention to detail made Lynch fall in love with this artist, and he has selected his personal favorites, saying that "the clear unmixed vocals and instruments were bliss for me to work on." These masterpieces have been remixed and reworked by some of the planet's finest musicians and audio engineers. We have picked tracks from his unforgettable albums of the late 20th century, including 'Judge Not', 'Private Beach Party', 'Red Rose For Gregory', 'I.O.U' and 'Absent.'
