Pleasures Of Zer0 takes us to new sonic boundaries -- hurling Metal, Industrial and Electronic into the blast furnace and spitting out a new kind of Metallurgy dubbed 'Synthcore.' Since forming in 2002, this unrelenting New Orleans based beast has twisted the musical genres preceding it -- as Skinny Puppy, Ministry, and Revco did in the 80's -- pummeling fans with alternating melodic and daemonic vocals; heavy yet melodic guitars; dark synth sounds and bone crushing beats... always leaving them begging for more. Pleasures Of Zer0 have just finished their first EP recorded at Balance Studios, the home of Dave Fortman(producer, Evanescence and Superjoint Ritual) for Nocturnal Records. They are now ready to indoctrinate the masses. The ferocity of this beast you must see for yourself. Claim your victims now. Pleasures Of Zer0 is a multi genre band with its roots placed firmly in Metal, Industrial, and Electronic music. In 2002-2003, this New Orleans, Louisiana based band fused all there influences together to forge a new kind of Metallurgy often referred to as SynthCore but, stereotyping is no place for a band like Pleasures Of Zer0. With both singing and screaming vocals alternated to heavy and melodic riffs, then blended with dark synth sounds and bone crushing beats, you have this wicked band. They sound like something between Skinny Puppy, Godflesh, The Melvins, Ministry, Deftones, Fear Factory, and Sepultura all mixed together. Pleasures Of Zer0 consist of Kevin Daigrepont on vocal melodies, while Chris Fegan and Daigrepont also belt out the blood curdling agro vocals simultaneously. Then Tripp Funk and Daigrepont join forces on Guitars to rip out ground shaking riffs and cleanly developed euphoric notes. Brandon Worrell adds the thump of the distorted Bass and with Beats on Drum Machine by Daigrepont, and occasionally Funk, this animal takes shape. Fegan mixes his twisted synth sounds to the chemistry and Kenny Brown polishes the final touch with his live Drum skills. The ferocity of this beast you must see for yourself.
