Greek soil was among the most fertile for the development of the Second Wave of Black Metal in the 1990s, and it is axiomatic to declare Rotting Christ, Varathron, and Necromantia as the progenitors of the Greek Black Metal scene. Another band that was active during those early years, Necromancy, is often overlooked. In order to give it the recognition that is has long been overdue, NWN! is proud to reissue this well-deserving exemple of Greek black metal.
