In late 2007 after a suggestion from a record company executive the band were encouraged to trace their musical roots all the way back to Memphis Tennessee. In fact to be more specific to the Sun Studios where some of the original Rock n Roll stars recorded those ground breaking and classic tracks in the fifties and early sixties. Under the guidance of vocalist Dave Bartram, who researched the songs for this project and surprisingly found hundreds of songs some of which were previously unreleased and even new to him, the band chose their favourite tracks and prepared the album in the UK before flying to Memphis to complete the album at the legendary Sun Studios in February 2008. The final album finds Showaddywaddy performing songs associated with the Sun Records catalogue and also recorded at the Sun Studios bringing the whole project round full circle. Showaddywaddy have had a proven track record in the recording business and still perform hundreds of concerts every year. This album will be available for the bands upcoming spring tour.
