Enhanced CD + video .mpg + 12 full-colour pages booklet. This CD mixes power electronics with abstract sonic expressionism, low frequency pulses, feedback and analogue synth drones. A real post-Aktionist 'death-music' manifesto: Sein Zum Tode... Necrophonie is the name used by the noise duet formed by Devis G. (Teatro Satanico, Lunus, DeV) & M. Nothing (aka M. Corbelli/Atrax Morgue). They were yet partners-in-noise ten years ago, indeed a very small portion of this music had been four-handed composed, performed and tape released in 1996 and 1997 by Slaughter Productions. The duo retrieve parts of mid 90's live electronics sessions, adding new recordings, and editing and 're-animating' that old tape recorded matter, here-hence the 'Necrophonie' name: for the act of giving new electronic life to 'dead audio recordings'.
