One of the leading Moog pioneers, Mort Garson is a.o. known for his conceptual psychedelic-electronic masterpiece 'Cosmic Sounds', which was credited to The Zodiac. (Or, according to some, that was the other way 'round.) Now here's a reissue of his other cult release from the '60s, 'An Electric Odyssey'! This collection of freaky Moog outings, recorded in 1968 as The Wozard Of Iz, indeed parodies the famous movie 'The Wizard Of Oz', but not without transporting the characters to the '60s flower power-era with a hippie mindset! (The latter with thanks to Jacques Wilson's brilliant lyrics.) This edition is mastered at 45rpm for an improved sound quality that will make Dorothy surrender in no time!
