Swedish actress Ann-Margret became a cult legend thanks to her appearences in Frank Capra's 'A Pocketful Of Miracles', the Elvis-movie 'Viva Las Vegas' (yes, the two stars had a love affair during its making!) and the film version of The Who's rock-opera 'Tommy'. This 26-track disc mostly offers songs from two other movies in which she impressed, 'The Swinger' and 'The Pleasure Seekers'. The title song of 'The Swinger' was written by André and Dory Previn while the score was composed by Marty Paich. The score of 'The Pleasure Seekers' was created by Lionel Newman and Alexander Courage (the latter destined to compose the music for 'Star Trek') and features four selections written by the Sammy Cahn.
