This TRIPLE-CD contains all the songs of Loren's two mid '80s albums ('Playing The Game' with Richard Newman, and 'After The Long Night' with Bert Jansch) plus a third disc of recently unearthed material. This latter part of the triptych feels decidedly special as it documents what would become a great partnership between Loren and Bert, both creatively and romantically. Listening to these remastered recordings it's hard to believe that Loren never got the same recognition as f.i. Virginia Astley, Bridget St John or Vashti Bunyan. rare photos and a personal message from Lorens mother are included.
