KAVEH , the Berlin-based rapper with Iranian origins began to write his first verses in 1995. Apart from that, he also works as a journalist and social worker in schools and youth centres. He spent his childhood in France and equally lived in Canada and Spain. His multiple identities explain why he raps in several languages: German, French, Persian, English and Spanish. Together with singer and producer MEHTY he has already recorded and released two CD's in Persian (Gush Kon: 2005; Tahe Del: 2009) under the name of Daad. Moreover, he released a German hip hop record (Ich geh mein Weg: 2005), where you can also listen to some of his French tracks. It was in 2001 that he recorded his first hip hop album with fellow rappers ANJUN and YASHA and NITRO, a producer of the PUPPETMASTAZ, under the name of CONSCIOUS INTELLECT, which, unfortunately, never was released. Meanwhile he had scores of gigs and also supported plenty of demonstrations and gave solidarity concerts. Since the beginning of his hip hop career he has been laying down knowledge about controversial topics ranging from discriminatory experiences as a so-called migrant and structural racism in Europe to resistance against oppression, capitalism and imperialism.
