The music for INFINI is a dark heavy and provocative score that is perfectly adapted to the story and vision of the film. Massive bold iconic themes, classic sounding in their approach with an edge of grit and power. The tracks are positioned in a chronological manner according to the films journey. They become more intense as you travel deeper into the album, the orchestra expressing the big themes with conviction with every track, until we reach the pinnacle twist in the film when an emotional turn takes place. The last fifteen minutes of the score are some of Brian Cachia’s finest work to date. The music for INFINI has been described as A PERFECT MARRIAGE between film and music and it stays with you long after the film has gone. ‘I’ve seen Brian go to some dark places in our time together but never has he gone as deep as he did for this movie. What he’s created here is a huge part of Infini’s soul. It’s a haunting and malevolent voice that stays with you long after the picture has finished. I watched Brian literally bleed for this movie. I saw him tear his soul to pieces to try and bring this ugly monster to life. So to that extent, I hope you enjoy the ride, sincerely, and if not, it doesn’t matter. Infini never cared what any of us thought. It just exists in a space all of its own. It is whatever it wants to be. Shane Abbess, Director’ Brian Cachia is an Australian born Composer who has always been dedicated to his art and love for producing music, it would be Brian Cachia’s debut score for the indie cult epic GABRIEL that would introduce him to eager audiences worldwide whom were quick to embrace his unique style and sound. In late 2008, by personal invitation, Brian was asked to join the team of Hollywood film composer Tyler Bates (Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, Guardians of the Galaxy) in the capacity of composer, percussionist, drummer, musical programmer, mix engineer and musician. The pair enjoyed a fruitful collaboration on such films as Halloween2, Suckerpunch, Super, Conan the Barbarian, The Darkest hour and Billy Friedkin’s Killer Joe. An important aspect of Brian’s music is the simplicity that lay within the complexities, using all means of music creation to deliver the desired result, whether it be atmospheric tones through synthesis and electronics which weave effortlessly through rich orchestrations or his tribal percussive backbone which holds up his unique musical voice.
