determination, showing that he warrants the comparisons of such artists as Tim Hecker and Fennesz. This record still holds melancholy and nostalgia, but the religious post-rock melodies are scarcer. 'Savage Bliss' is a dark album, a sad revolution. It's crude but not monolithic, powerful, but without violence. Instead it offers heart and emotion.
