It's great news having a new album by EL PETIT DE CAL ERIL after the huge success of their debut "I les sargantanes al sol" in 2009. And its also great that this ones also out on vinyl. But best news is, "Vol i dol" is a killer of an album. Another future classic of Catalan psych-folk, I put my hands on fire. The band has somehow lost here the innocence of their first album, resulting a more mature work with deeper arrangements; also adding some electric guitar to the usual offering, acoustic guitar, drum, bass, flute, analog synth....arm sound, great songs, brilliant Catalan languaged lyrics. If my word means something for you, take it. I strongly recommend you this album if you have any interest on psychedelic folk rock. I'd swear you'll thank me for that.
