Hypnosphere - Within The Whirl (Spheric Music SMCD 4003) If you want to go on an atmospherically hypnotizing trip of Berlin School/Ambient, this album is for you! SPHERIC MUSIC presents a new project: Lambert & Alien Nature This is an unique blend of Ambient and Berlin School which has been performed by two artists of these different styles. Lambert (Ringlage) has released some varying electronic CDs in the past. This CD is the debut release by Wolfgang Barkowski (=Alien Nature) who has his roots in the field of Dark Ambient music. Here you can listen to the result of their colaboration. The musicians got to know each other when Wolfgang showed interest in the music of RAMP (Lambert was involved in the RAMP project at the beginning). Wolfgang introduced his music to Lambert. His music sounds experimental, dark and rhythmically-monotonous. Leaving the doubts behind – if the musical ideas of Lambert would fit together with the ones by Alien Nature? – they both realized that they could learn from each other. They stimulate each other to reach for new musical territories. Further sessions showed that they got more and more into this musical style (meeting somewhere between Dark Ambient and Berlin School electronic). The result are serious tunes (maybe you feel that all fun has gone). But if you regard all the dishonest things happening in our society, the show that many people play, the poisened „intact world“, you see that other parts of our life happen to get too little acknowledgement. Within The Whirl is also an invitation to view the dark sides of life and to go 'Within The Whirl'. We hope that some listeners are willing to listen to this atmospherically serious music.
