The second album by Finnish death-doom trio VAINAJA is based on the book 'Verenvalaja', presumably the only completely preserved work of 'Wilhelm Waenaa' (a mystic figure of Finnish folklore). 'Verenvalaja' evokes feelings of dread, wrapped in uncompromisingly heavy doom-death metal.
