ZARBO are an amazing Americana (U.K. based) Duo comprising of Andy Heath (Lead Voice, Guitars, Foot Drums, Kazoo, Harmonicas) and Paul Bishop (Banjo, Dobro, Foot percussion, Backing Vocals). The songs, all written by Andy, cover topics as diverse as loneliness, being healed by the hands of Elvis and working in a Supermarket. Their live shows have a vaudeville medicine show style which feature no loops or backing tracks, 1920's drums and percussion played with their feet and mysterious harmonies produced by a home-made lever operated harmony machine. Vintage stage lighting and theatrical stage props and backdrop complete the magical world of Zarbo. Andy Heath has written for artists including Ghostland (featuring Eno and Sinead O' Connor). Chris Wright, the founder of Chysalis Records, was moved to pronounce him as one of the finest songwriters in the UK. Paul Bishop is a top Nashville session player in his own right and was hailed as the 'Hendrix of the Banjo' by Record Collector Magazine.
