Two demos, both of which are of extreme importance for every collector of 70s Heavy Rock, finally appear on CD! Earth are none others than the first incarnation (1969) of Black Sabbath! The Flying Hat Band is the band in which Glenn Tipton played before joining Judas Priest in 1974. The Earth demo sessions comprise three heavy bluesy numbers and a cover of 'Blue Suede Shoes'. The latter track was recorded when they had just changed their name to Black Sabbath. The four songs (from 1973) by the Flying Hat Band remind of Sabbath, and there also are similarities with bands like Horse, Fuzzy Duck or even Hard Stuff.
