CANNABIS CORPSE was formed by MUNICIPAL WASTE bassist "LandPhil" Hall (bass/vocals) and his brother Josh "Hallhammer" Hall (drums) out of a mutual love of brutal Floridian death metal. and weed. The bands earliest recordings (2006'sBlunted at Birth and 2008'sTube of the Resinated) are primal homages to their influences, where relentless, jackhammer beats and sick, guttural vocals lay the foundation for twisted tales of crazed weed mayhem. Time has seen the band tour the world over, and grow into a more evolved harbinger of genuinely American death metal. Now CANNABIS CORPSE return to share another massive joint with the world. Named after GORGUTS 2001 classic From Wisdom to Hate, new album From Wisdom to Baked is made of the same dizzying stuff that got the Americans so popular: straightforward old school death metal executed as close to perfection as it gets, brutally honest and in style.
