That my songs could carry me across an ocean to a foreign country still amazes me. For the past five years, I have been performing with guitarist extraordinaire, Sergio Webb. We have burned up countless miles on the road in The States and in Europe. Holland has always been our overseas headquarters. On any given Dutch tour, there are always several concerts where Pieter Groenveld will provide the sound. It is from these concerts, with Pieter acting as soundman, that the recordings on this CD are culled. Playing with Sergio has been and continues to be the greatest. He adds such depth and excitement to the songs. Sergio gets on stage to kick ass and take no prisoners. He pushes me to give the best performance I am capable of every time out. My playing has improved so much just by being around him. I think the first Dutch tour we did was where we jelled as an act. I hear it on these recordings. I would like to dedicate this CD to Liz Meyer. Singer, songwriter, Pieter Groenveld's wife and partner. She is missed.
